Here are some old pieces on a pretty well worked subject. I thought the Whack-a-Mole angle was pretty interesting, so I decided to give it an update for an upcoming promo mailing.
Mostly I was accentuating the shape of the newly minted come hither men, the cleanliness/vivacity of the colors, and a more active carnival feeling with the backing board. Still not sure if this will be finished digitally or with acrylic

More vintage ephemera!
The first image here is a cigarette pack from Marrakech Moroc- A wicked smelly unfiltered flavor that fits the loudness of the area. Mostly the inspirational logo caught my eye.
The rest of the images are a common type of postcard filling antique stores across the United states.. The print dates are probably in the 40's and 50's where the postage was one and half cents.

Vintage Ephemera from an antique shop in Market Square Omaha
The Snakes and Ladders board is from England by National Series games, and was originally appropriated from an indian game that was very similar. The version we're most familiar with was brought to the United States by Milton Bradley and sanitized into 'Chutes and Ladders'.

Here's a few quick spots for the Wake magazine. One is Obama selling the UN's fan gear to Singh in response to him backing India's bid for the security council. The other relates to how Obama skipped China over on his recent trip across Asia. Which could be viewed as a snub or hate of fortune cookies by some.
